The team

Today, the school team consists of five people.

Alexis Arsac, the school’s director, succeeded Daniel KAAG in July 2023, who had himself succeeded Jean-François Escoulen in 2016. Alexis was responsible for the workshops from 2019 to 2023.

Hélène Crassous, full-time administrative assistant, is responsible for reservations, relations between trainees and funding organizations, taking charge of expenses, signing up, as well as the entry of accounts.

Yann Marot, the school’s main trainer, works part-time. He provides half of the long-term training and most of the advanced courses. Its famous «à la carte» courses are by far the more requested in our program. Currently a craftsman in Salernes, he is the archetype of the complete, versatile, generous and creative woodturner.

Pascale Troin takes care of the routine maintenance and cleaning. She shares her time between the Escoulen school and the town hall of Aiguines.

Yohan Benoist, president of the association, ensures the bonds with the municipality and general supervision of the structure. He has a local business in Aiguines and has since become an important actor involved in the associative life of the village.

Finally, Luis Morgado is involved in all the maintenance and development work of the school when he is not in his woodturner workshop, his shop in Aiguines, or on other personal construction sites.
