A 250€ deposit is requested to confirm your registration. In case of resignation, the deposit is owned by Escoulen's school.

To register to a course, you only need to click on one of the courses ' date, then fill in the registration form which will be displayed.

Beginner's and advanced course (5 days)

I can offer each student a personal program, with the help on some courses, of Joss, my assistant. The advanced course is intended for people who are experienced in the use of basic woodturning tools and who are interesting in extending woodturning techniques: skew, end grain hollowing, hook tool hollowing, accross the grain hollowing, green wood techniques, how to make long and thin pieces (trembleur) using string steady rest and more ... The course's program depends on each student interest, responsible in fact for setting out his own schedule of work according to his inspiration and skill level.	Dates 2013

The aim of the course is to enable the student to be self sufficient in: preparing timber for turning using the lathe competently and safely mastering the use of basic tools for both between-centre and face-plate turning making functional, decorative and beautifully finished objects A special attention is placed on teaching the correct methods of tool sharpening. This course will move on the different eccentric wood turning techniques, between-center and also using Escoulen chuck.	Dates 2013

A wide comprehensive programme including all traditional basis of woodturning, highlighting particulary the present-day approach and turned woodcarving. This course is open to all adults and does not crave any particular knowledge in woodturning but a great motivation is necessary to follow this course. 10 students will be selected, following an interview. Jean-François ESCOULEN is the main teacher of this programme. 3 other woodturners will participate in the training : Alain Mailland, woodturner and sculptort Eric Bourneil , woodturner Michael Hosaluk, canadian woodturner. This 15 weeks training course will start on september the 2nd and will end on December the 19th. Course leading to a qualification, files on demand.	Dates 2013
